Chocalate Cake

CUSTARD

In a saucepan, mix:

.5 c Milk
1 Egg yolk
.5 c sugar
3 sq Unsweetened chocolate

Set aside and cool.

CAKE

1 c (.5 lb) Margarine or shortening
1 c Sugar
2 Eggs
2 c Cake flour
1 c Milk
1 tsp Baking soda dissolved in 1 tbsp Hot water
1 tsp Vanilla

Add custard, bake in ungreased pan 45 minutes at 350 degrees (F).
